# Introducing innovative ideas for business

**There’s no right or wrong** time to visit Paris. Each season has not only a different
character, but also a diverse range of festivals, sporting events, and cultural 
activities. Here we pick a few of our favorites in a month-by-month guide to the
Parisian year.

Producing creative, fresh projects is the key to standing out. Unique side projects
are the best place to innovate, but balancing commercially and creatively _lucrative
work is tricky_. So, this article looks at how to make side projects work and why
they’re worthwhile, drawing on lessons learned from our development of the UX companion
app.

Vast numbers of employees now work remotely, and it’s too late to develop a set 
of remote-work policies if you didn’t already have one. But there are ways to make
the remote-work experience productive and engaging — for employees and the organization.

Use both direct conversations and indirect observations to get visibility into employees’

arising from the COVID-19 pandemic, including alternative work models, job security
and prospects, impact on staffing, and tension in the workplace.
